IPBC Taiwan took place on April 12 2016 in Taipei at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Over 240 senior IP executives attended the event with the focus on the major IP-owning Taiwanese corporates and their counterparts from across Asia, North America and Europe.
IPBC Taiwan addressed the core themes of IP value creation and strategic corporate IP management, discussing these in a Taiwanese context. The central issue discussed was that intellectual property is much more than a legal right; in fact, it is a fundamental business asset that can help to build revenues and increase profits – not only through licensing and other forms of monetisation, but also by enabling collaborations, underpinning open innovation platforms, inspiring M&A, providing access to finance and driving broader corporate strategies.
All sessions were bilingual, with simultaneous Chinese-English translations (and vice versa where relevant). As with all IPBC events, particular focus was attached to the networking aspect of the event, and the coffee breaks, lunch and cocktail reception were structured very much with this in mind.
IPBC Asia 2016 will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong from December 4 to 6 2016. As with all IPBC events, we anticipate very high demand for the limited number of available tickets. If you would like to confirm your interest in attending the event before registration opens, please visit our IPBC website for more details.
